While John McCain’s campaign hands out fake press passes to the remaining media who bothered to stick around stateside instead of trailing Barack Obama abroad — because criticizing reporters is so smart — he’s still got one little problem to deal with: he’s old, and the press has caught on. They’re even starting to blame his age for all of his mental gaffes — conveniently left out of CBS’s interview — such as confusing Iraq and Afghanistan and Sunnis and Shiites.
