Ellen Degeneres may seem much younger than her 50 years, but there’s one modern practice she refuses to adopt. Ellen admitted to Star Magazine in an interview that she doesn’t have a computer or use e-mail. It sounds like she’s used one occasionally, but doesn’t have one at home or use e-mail for communicating at all:
What’s something about yourself that people don’t know?
I don’t have a computer, and I don’t use e-mail! I don’t own a Blackbetter either. I don’t think it’s healthy to always be texting and online all the time. I hate it when you’re having lunch with someone and they’re looking down at their BlackBerry, punching away.

I had a 70-something teacher in college who would give us handwritten hand outs and I thought the guy was a great teacher, but behind the times. He said he didn’t know how to type and didn’t want to ever use a computer and I just chalked it up to his age. Both of my retired parents are adept computer and Internet users, and I find it surprising when someone says they’re proud not to get online or use e-mail. It’s such a useful tool and one I can’t imagine living without for an extended period of time.
Ellen is right though that it can be an unhealthy addiction, and one that I’ve been accurately accused of. I always use the excuse that it’s my job, but I also have this need to try and keep up with everything and that can be consuming. Still, it’s like everything else and you can use it in moderation. It just seems like too much of a useful tool to completely abstain from using it. Maybe it’s easier not to use e-mail or a computer when you have a whole staff of people working for you like Ellen.

Kristen Davis was shocked when she was asked to strip down for a shower scene in The Sex And The City movie. According to Davis, the writer/director Michael King wanted her to strip because she did not have a “no nudity” clause in her contract.
“He (King) tried to get me to be naked in that shower scene but I feel like I can’t do that stuff. I feel really panicky about that stuff.”
She finally agreed to a cut-down version of the scene.
Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker also refused to bare all. Cynthia Nixon is the only one who agreed to strip down.
Considering Davis appeared topless on the show multiple times, she’s probably insecure now that she’s older. Certain things just aren’t as perky as they used to be.

HoHan and Samantha Ronson are like every other piece of trash couple. They go to bars together, they get drunk, they fight and they cry lesbians tears in front of everyone. Nothing is worse than some dumbass crying in the bar. Way to ruin my buzz! Take that shit in the alley way or something. You are not supposed to cry in a bar.
Anyway, HoHan and Ronson were at Crown Bar in West Hollywood when they started to fight. Ronson probably wanted to be the top that night. A source told Page Six, “They had a full-blown fight. “Evan Ross, Diana’s son, and Lauren Conrad comforted her while Lindsay kept wiping her tears.”
That must have been a mess. The floor was probably covered in toxic orange sludge.

This weekend David Archuleta’s dad, Jeff was banned from rehearsals backstage at “American Idol.”
Jeff Archuleta was told he can no longer join 17-year-old son as David as he rehearses. The producers made this decision because last week his actions cost them money:
Despite a warning, Jeff Archuleta insisted on altering “Stand by Me,” one of two songs his son sang on the show Tuesday. By adding a verse from Sean Kingston’s “Beautiful Girls,” the father incurred additional costs for “American Idol,” the person said. (AP)
Let’s see how David does without his dad pulling every string.
